I’ve added it to make installation easier on Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Windows, and Linux.
All you need is Chrome or any browser that supports Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
The installation is quick and simple — no need to open the App Store or Google Play. Chrome takes care of it for you and i think that this standard could eventually replace most app stores on the market. It's essentially like using a very lightweight and fast browser!
Once installed, it actually appears as a real application on all platforms compatible with PWAs.
P.S. The icon disappears once installed on your device and reappears once uninstalled. :D
